ABOUT

Volunteers

Our volunteer staff serves a vital part of the experience that patrons have when they first enter the Alex. Volunteers serve functions such as greeting and directing patrons, ticket tearing, directing patrons to their seats, assisting guests with special needs, answering questions, monitoring the audience during performances, and directing patrons in the event of an emergency.

How to Participate
The Alex Theatre is always looking for new volunteers who are interested in assisting the Theatre staff during performances. You must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer and also be available to assist at an event at least twice a month. If you would like more information on becoming a theatre volunteer please contact our Event Services Manager at 818-243-7700 ext. 218, or by email at volunteers@alextheatre.org.
